A Modern Take on Functionality and Flow
Originally, the home featured a series of closed-off rooms and a cluttered kitchen layout, complete with multiple staircases leading to different levels. The homeowners dreamed of an open, flowing design that would bring more light, space, and usability to their everyday lives.
By reimagining the floor plan, removing walls, and incorporating thoughtful design elements, we transformed this space from a traditional layout into a modern haven. Each room now serves its purpose beautifully, combining style with functionality, from the expanded kitchen and laundry room addition to the updated living room and luxurious bathroom.
This remodel tells a story of honoring the home’s character while creating a welcoming, practical environment for the next chapter.

Scope of Work
To transform an outdated and compartmentalized space, we removed walls and reconfigured the layout, merging the old kitchen and dining room into an expansive, modern kitchen.
This space features custom white cabinetry, an oversized island with granite countertops, and integrated seating by the large bay windows, creating a perfect balance between functionality and style. The ceiling includes a decorative, antique-style inlay, complemented by pendant lighting that adds warmth and charm.
The kitchen also includes state-of-the-art appliances, ample storage, and a mix of open shelving and display cabinets, providing both utility and visual appeal.

What once was a cramped area in the basement has been transformed into a beautiful and functional first-floor laundry room.
The custom blue cabinetry offers substantial storage, while the patterned tile flooring adds character and a splash of personality.
Thoughtful design details, like the folding counter and convenient shelving, optimize the space for practical use while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic with the rest of the home.

Scope of Work
We opened up the living room to create a seamless flow into the kitchen. The original space was updated with fresh flooring and paint, and a beautiful, tiled fireplace became the room’s focal point.
The fireplace surround showcases intricate tile work that enhances the room's aesthetic, while built-in shelving on either side provides storage and display space.
The living room also includes the new staircase to the basement, positioned where a former storage closet once stood, efficiently integrating this change while preserving the room’s openness and style.

Scope of Work
The original layout of the home included two staircases in the kitchen—one leading upstairs and another to the basement—creating a cluttered feel. We removed both, relocating the basement stairs to the living room and creating a more open and accessible flow.
The new staircase is designed with clean lines, wooden steps, and a crisp white railing, harmonizing with the home's updated style. The basement itself received new flooring and fresh paint, giving it a polished, finished look to complement the redesign.

Scope of Work
The upstairs bathroom underwent a complete transformation to enhance functionality and style.
We removed partitions and walls, opening up the layout into a more spacious, cohesive area. The bathroom features a dark wood vanity with a marble countertop, paired with elegant black fixtures and hardware for a timeless look.
The shower area showcases textured, artisan-style tiles with a niche for storage, adding depth and visual interest. A blend of black-toned floor tiles and soft wall colors create a calming atmosphere, completing the modern and inviting bathroom renovation.

This project began with a strong start in the design phase, as the homeowners came prepared with a clear vision and well-defined style, allowing them to move through the selection process swiftly and confidently. Their readiness and decisiveness set the tone for a seamless planning phase. While the project timeline extended in production due to a combination of material delays and labor challenges, we worked closely with the homeowners to address each obstacle as it arose, ensuring that the final result met their expectations for quality and craftsmanship. The completed remodel reflects their unique style and the careful attention to detail that went into every phase of the project.
