Position Summary
An effective Project Manager is skilled at overseeing residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager’s work consists of site visits, client meetings, trade partner coordination, schedule and budget tracking, project documentation and data management, and ensuring all project elements are executed effectively.
The ideal candidate for this role is a results-oriented leader who takes full ownership of outcomes and knows how to drive a project forward from start to finish.

Work Hours & Location
This is a full-time position averaging approximately 40-45 hours/week. Work hours are primarily between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Work is to be performed both at our office, located at 780 Eden Rd., Lancaster, PA, and on location at client homes. Once fully onboarded, some remote work hours may be acceptable if desired.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
The Project Manager is a pivotal member of the Production team, responsible for steering project execution from kickoff to warranty completion, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.
- Take ownership of project momentum and client experience from the time the project is handed off from Project Development until the completion of the 90-day warranty visit.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring proper sequencing and timely execution of all tasks.
- Coordinate with trade partners and subcontractors, ensuring scopes of work are clearly defined and executed to company standards.
- Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are scheduled and completed.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and resolve any field issues proactively.
Financial & Resource Management
Critical to maintaining project integrity, the Project Manager oversees all financial and resource aspects to guarantee projects are delivered within budget constraints and resource allocations.
- Manage multiple remodeling projects concurrently, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Work closely with the Carpenters and Estimator to maintain cost control and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of project details, including change orders, material orders, and site conditions.
Leadership & Communication
As a leader and central point of communication, the Project Manager ensures seamless collaboration among team members and clear, consistent interactions with all project stakeholders.
- Facilitate pre-construction meetings with clients and trade partners to ensure alignment before project start.
- Ensure a smooth project closeout, including punch list management, client walkthroughs, job debriefs, and final documentation.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential remodeling project management or a related field.
- Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and trade partner coordination.
- Familiarity with construction documentation, contracts, and permitting.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, building codes, and best practices.
- Experience working with trade partners, carpenters, and vendors to execute projects efficiently.
Technology & Software
- Proficient in smartphone navigation
- Skilled in Google Apps and MS Office Suite
- Competent with typing, file navigation, and general computer skills
- Basic understanding of spreadsheets, working with PDFs, downloading and saving files.
- Computer savvy and comfortable learning new software.
- Excellent typing skills
Not Required (But Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with Apple iPhone, iPad, and Macbook
- Experience with project management software (Monday.com, Jobtread, CoConstruct, Buildertrend, or similar)
- Experience with job costing and estimating tools
General
- Of working age for tasks required and have proper working paperwork.
- Active driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Able to maneuver safely around active construction sites at any stage of work (i.e., foundation, framing, finishing).
- Available for communication between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
- Available for occasional after-hours meetings as needed for project scheduling or client communication.
