Project Overview
Frustration was the driving force behind this remodel. The kitchen’s layout made cooking and organization difficult, with hard-to-reach lower cabinets, insufficient storage, and a two-height island that disrupted workflow. Clutter built up quickly, and the space simply didn’t function the way the homeowners needed it to.
In the bathroom, an outdated cast-iron sink and lack of enclosed storage created daily challenges, leaving the space feeling disorganized and impractical.
These pain points made everyday tasks more difficult than they should be, leading the homeowners to seek a transformation that prioritized efficiency, organization, and a fresh new look.
Their vision was clear: Spaces that were not only beautiful but also highly functional, with smart storage solutions.

Scope of Work
To address the frustrations in both the kitchen and bathroom, this remodel focused on improving functionality, organization, and overall aesthetics while maintaining the home’s inviting character.
In the kitchen, the existing two-height island was reconfigured into a single-level design, creating a more open and user-friendly workspace. All-new cabinetry with custom pullouts and accessories was installed to maximize storage and improve accessibility, making daily tasks more efficient. Upgraded appliances enhanced performance, while a personalized backsplash featuring the homeowner’s favorite shade of blue added a unique and creative touch. Improved lighting and refined finishes brightened the space, tying together the modern cottage aesthetic.
In the bathroom, the outdated cast-iron sink was replaced with a beautifully crafted wood vanity, providing concealed storage and adding warmth to the design. Upgraded countertops, fixtures, and lighting created a more polished and cohesive look, elevating both style and function. Storage solutions were thoughtfully integrated to reduce clutter and improve daily usability, ensuring the space felt as organized as it was inviting.
By blending classic charm with modern conveniences, this remodel transformed both spaces into highly functional, stylish areas that support the homeowners’ lifestyle while reflecting their personal taste.

This remodel moved through the planning phases efficiently, thanks to the homeowners’ clear vision and purposeful decision-making. Project Development, which typically varies in length, was completed in about a month—a testament to their dedication to the design and planning process.
During pre-production we work on ordering materials, learning product lead times, obtaining permits, and scheduling trade partners. Pre-production can usually take a month to two months. Once construction starts, a typical kitchen remodel takes about 6-10+ weeks and a typical bathroom remodel takes about 4-6+ weeks. Once construction began, the project stayed on schedule with minimal challenges, allowing for a seamless build and an on-time completion. Thoughtful planning and a well-structured timeline ensured a smooth remodeling experience from start to finish.
