Project Overview

Scope of Work
The primary objective of this remodel was to create a more open and inviting space that enhances the flow and functionality of the kitchen and first floor. Initially, the separation between the kitchen, dining area, and formal living room created a fragmented layout. The entryway was cramped, and the kitchen's outdated design contributed to a darker environment. To address these issues, we reconfigured the layout by removing the wall between the kitchen and the formal living room, as well as the partial walls separating the kitchen from the dining area, resulting in a seamless, open-concept space that promotes better flow and interaction.
By reconfiguring the kitchen layout, we created a more open and welcoming entryway. The stairs, visible from the front door, were updated to serve as a focal point, enhancing the entryway's visual appeal. The kitchen renovation included the installation of new custom cabinetry, high-quality quartz countertops, and a classic yet elevated white tile backsplash. Stainless steel appliances were added to enhance functionality.
The dining area now seamlessly integrates with the kitchen, featuring improved lighting and a cohesive design. Recessed lighting throughout the kitchen and dining area, along with pendant lights above the kitchen island, provided ample illumination and a stylish focal point. New LVP flooring was installed throughout the kitchen and adjoining areas, creating a uniform look and adding warmth to the space.
The completed remodel transformed the kitchen and first floor into a bright, open, and welcoming space that meets the homeowners' needs and preferences. The new layout improves functionality and enhances the home's overall aesthetic, creating a modern and cohesive environment ideal for both everyday living and entertaining.

The pre-production phase, which included ordering materials, managing product lead times, and scheduling trade partners, took just over a month. Once construction began, the typical kitchen remodel timeframe of 6-10 weeks was extended due to the extensive scope of work and additional areas on the first floor that were included in the project.
