Kelly & Greg's Manheim Whole Home Remodel
A Gorgeous Home Update
The home they bought did not quite match their personal style, or their desired layout, so they were looking for a complete renovation of the house. Updates to the home were required in order to create more privacy for each family member and accommodate first floor living.
Project Goals
- Update the space to match the clients' style.
- Create a space for aging parents with one floor living.
- Rework the existing layout for better functionality.

Kitchen and Living Space
Scope of Work
In the kitchen we replaced the island, updated some elements of the cabinetry, replaced the countertops, and added a new backsplash. All appliances were updated along with the lighting and fixtures. Lastly, we reconfigured both pantries to make them more functional for the family.
We also replaced all the existing flooring in the kitchen, living room, dining area, and entryway with a rich "Coffee Maple" LVP. We removed wallpaper and Victorian style trim in the dining room. The columns were changed from Victorian to traditional style.
In the living room, we completely refaced the fireplace to make it look more rustic and traditional. We also replaced the existing doors that lead to the backyard with dual French doors.
The entryway received a new door as well as a completely updated stairway with custom features.

First Floor Bedroom Suite
Scope of Work
This first floor bedroom suite includes a bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet addition.
In the bedroom we freshened up the paint and updated the carpet. We also updated the column to match the rest of the columns in the house. In the bathroom, we removed the upper cabinets to open up the space and painted the lower cabinets a lighter color. We also removed wallpaper and installed new sinks, faucets, and countertop.
The walk-in closet is a brand new addition to the home. It includes all custom cabinetry, new windows, and new flooring. We are loving those hat storage cubbies.

Upstairs Bedroom Suite
Scope of Work
The homeowner went with a youthful and fun purple for the walls. The high class bathroom is complete with luxury vinyl, a deep blue tile in the shower, and matte black finishes.
On the other side of the bathroom is a walk-in closet. A special feature within this closet is the drawers in the dormer. Not only do the drawers provide storage, they also act as steps for the cozy nook. And you cannot forget about the classy chandelier to complete the look.

To add more storage in the bedroom, we added sturdy drawers into the dormer.
Through the barn doors is a large master bathroom complete with a farmhouse style shower and beautifully stained vanity and farmhouse sink. Heading into the large walk-in closet is built in open storage shelves.
The walk-in closet is complete with custom cabinetry and shelves. A bright window offers abundant natural light. Imagine getting ready for the day in a closet this lovely!

This family had a move-in deadline of February 17. This was a large project, so we were very pleased to finish before that deadline. The clients knew exactly what they wanted and were eager to move through our project development process quickly. Since the list of decisions for this project was extensive, we approached the decision-making process is phases. The clients were able to move through some top tier selections that were needed in order to get into production, and made decisions on other selections at a later date. This helped to speed up the entire process. Some client-requested add-ons during production extended the end date by a few days, but still allowed them to occupy their home on move-in day as scheduled!
